Mindanao: I still believe he had amnesia sometime in the Spanish period..that, and he's too much of a bum to pick up a book and read his history. That's why he doesn't know about it.

Luzon: Doesn't know about what?

Mindanao: Oh, you know~! Stuff.:iconfearmeplz:

Luzon: O-okay!:iconimbeautifulplz:

I can't blame Luzon.
Spanish colonization has been particularly hard for him.
Spain has been forcefully burning most of remaining the indigenous Philippines culture and artifacts. His reasons was because Luzon's indigenous cultures are Heatens, and should be enlightened by the benevolent Spanish cultures.

On the other hand in Mindanao, the Sultans like the one in Maguidanao Sultanates gave rights to Philippines citizens be it from Luzon, Visayas, etc to practice their own religion and perserve their cultures in the Sultan's land. That's why he allowed missionary to settle in Mindanao, along with refugees from Luzon and Visayas. As proof, you will find Spanish-Creoles in Mindanao (I dunno what they call it) and a flourishing Christian and Animist community in Mindanao. Unlike Spanish who forbid and discriminate any religion in Luzon besides his own.
